One of the reasons
why this lesson plays a big role in Jobs life's is because Jobs dropped out of
college in December of 1972. Just after only completing one semester at Reed
College. This made him feel a little bit worthless because before he dropped
out of college he started to act differently. He walked around Reed College Campus
without shoes even when it was really cold or when it was snowing. Even after
he decided to drop out of college he was still allowed to attend any class. A
class that he decided to take was calligraphy. Calligraphy is a variety of
ancient alphabets and the art of beautiful writing. Calligraphy has many
techniques and a lot of creativity. In February of 1974 Jobs moves back home
and got a job at Atari. Atari was a company that created video games. One of
their first games that was created was Pong. This was Jobs favorite arcade
game. After working at Atari, he decided it was time to work on his dream. To
create a computer.
Another reason
why this lesson plays a big role in Jobs life's is because even though he was
kicked out of the company he founded on May 31, 1985. Even though he was kicked
out he didn't give up his dream he decided to start a new company. He founded
the computer company NeXT. Even though
he didn't sell that many computers and he his company wasn't worth that much he
still kept going. He also bought Pixar from George Lucas. He decided to make
movies. He even made a deal with Disney to make 3 movies for them using his
computers and programs.
In Conclusion,
even though Jobs dropped out of college and was kicked out of the company he
founded he didn't stop dreaming. He even agreed to let Apple buy his company,
so that he can return back to Apple on December 20, 1996. Even though he was
out of Apple for 10 years he continue to make a change in the world. He is an
inspiration to others who have failed to accomplish a goal or a dream. He
improved the technology world by making more modern computers and improving
some programs. This is why the most
important lesson in this book is that even if you fail to accomplish something
in life don't think that you're worthless or just can't do anything right.
We're all unique and different so we're the only ones that can make decisions for
us.
I like the structure of your blog post. I also really liked how you had a topic sentence in the introduction. Then you explained the topic sentence
